Google's photo organizing and editing software, Picasa, has finally hit the Mac, as Google said Monday that it has released Picasa for Mac ahead of MacWorld. Google--which acquired Picasa in 2004--said that all of the advanced sharing and sync features of the popular software are available to Mac OS X users. Google had previously allowed Mac users to upload their photos to Picasa Web Albums using an uploader and iPhoto plugin. The new software runs on Intel-based Macs with OX X 10.4 and above.
