    Picateers Raises $6.6M


    San Mateo-based Picateers, which operates a service to help schools manage their own school pictures to raise money, has raised $6.6M in a new funding round, according to a spokesperson for the firm. The funding came from Norwest Venture Partners and Storm Ventures. Picateers allows amateur photographers to help schools by raising money and selling portrait packages to parents, instead of using commercial photography services.
