San Francisco-based Pixsy and Massachusetts-based Gotuit said this morning that the two have partnered. According to Gotuit, its customers can now have their video libraries published to and ingested by Pixsy's Media Search Platform, in order to increase traffic to their web sites. Pixsy provides private label video and image search tools. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. Gotuit is a provider of software for managing online video; the firm's software is being used by Lifetime, Fox, Sports Illustrated, Major League Soccer and others, and it is venture backed by Highland Capital Partners, Atlas Venture, and Motorola.
