Mobile IQ, the developer of mobile publishing tool Pressrun, has been acquired by Quark, the software developer which develops desktop publishing tools. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Pressrun develops software which helps magazine, newspaper, and other publishers publish to the Apple iPhone and Android tablets and smartphones. The firm has offices in San Francisco, along with its offices and headquarters in the UK. Quark is owned by private equity firm Platinum Equity.
