QBotix Gets $6.5M For Solar Install Robotics

Menlo Park-based QBotix, a developer of robotics technology used to align and move solar panels to maximize the power output from photovoltaic panels, has raised $6.5M in a Series A funding, the firm disclosed this week. The funding was led by New Enterprise Associates, and also included Firelake Capital, Siemens Venture Capital, and DFJ JAIC.
