SendToNews.com, which operates a cloud-based platform for distributing HD videos, high resolution photos, audio files to news outlets, which has offices in San Francisco, said yesterday that it has raised $1M in an angel funding round. The round came from Elton, Adrian and Myron Pereira and Don Wharton, all of who are co-founders at ParetoLogic Inc, a developer of PC utility software based in Victoria, Canada. The firm said the funds will go towards North American expansion. SendToNews.com's site is used to pitch print, television, radio and online newsrooms with online videos and other content.
