Sensear Gets $6.3M




Sensear, a developer of noise reducing headsets which has its U.S. offices in San Francisco, said today that it has raised $7.1M Australian, or roughly $6.3M in U.S. dollars, for the firm. The firm said the funding came from its existing shareholders, which it did not identify. Exto Partners managed the fundraising effort. Sensear develops high noise and hearing protection devices, which includes built-in communications features. The firm said the new funding will go towards global sales growth and to enhance its technology. As part of the funding, the firm says its CEO and co-founder, Justin Miller, is now based in San Francisco. More information »
