Santa Clara-based SideStep said today that it has acquired San Mateo-based TravelPost.com, an online web site that provides hotel reviews and ratings. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Sidestep it would use the acquisition to accelerate its offerings and to tap TravelPost's user-generated content.
