Simply Hired Gets $12M For Job Search Engine

Sunnyvale-based SimplyHired, the job search engine site led by James Beriker, said late Tuesday that it has raised $12M in an equity and debt funding. The funding came from Foundation Capital, IDG Ventures, and City National Bank. The company said the funds will go towards its user experience and sales growth efforts. SimplyHired offers up an online job search site, and says it now gets around 30 million uniques each month; the company says it has around 6 million job listings from 228,000 employers now in its system.
