    STEP Labs Raises $6.5M


    San Jose-based STEP Labs, a provider of technology for the noise cancellation market, said today that it has raised $6.5M in a Series B funding. The round came from Gabriel Venture partners, along with Individuals' Venture Fund, Garage Technology Ventures, Garage Canada, and other investors. STEP Labs develops "voice separation" software used to improve audio quality and acoustics, particularly on Bluetooth and other headsets in noisy environments.
