    cFares Finds Funding

cFares, an online travel web site focused on searching for airline tickets, said today that it has completed a Series A funding. The round was led by Claremont Creek Ventures, and also included Garage Technology Ventures. cFares said that the firm has now raised $4.5M in funding. Garage was a prior investor in the firm. Cfares said that in conjunction with the funding, it has named Naren Nuth as president, and Michael W. Gunn to its advisory board. Nath joins from Trilogy Software; Gunn retired as American Airlines' Executive Vice President, Marketing and Planning in 2002. Nat Goldhaber of Claremont Creek, and Naren Nuth will join the firm's board of directors.
