    MotionDSP Gets Investment From In-Q-Tel


    San Mateo-based MotionDSP, a company that develops digital video technology, said Tuesday that it has received a strategic investment from In-Q-Tel, the CIA's venture capital arm. MotionDSP develops a video forensics tool that is used to improve the quality of video capture. The company's image enhancement software can create high-resolution images from low-resolution cameras and video. Amount of the investment was not disclosed. In-Q-Tel is the arm of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency which makes investments in companies which develop technology that may be of use to the U.S. intelligence community.
