SugarCRM Eyes IPO

The recent, high profile success of IPOs from a number of enterprise software companies has Cupertino-based SugarCRM eyeing an IPO next year, according to a report today. Larry Augustin, CEO of the company, said that the firm may look to ride the wave of enterprise computing initial public offerings as early as next year. The report and interview with Augustin came via Bloomberg. Enterprise software IPOs have been the surprise winners this year, performing far better than the flashier--but now, widely disappointing--IPOs of such Internet darlings as Facebook, Groupon, and Zynga.
