Cupertino-based SugarCRM said this morning it has made a beta available of the company's latest customer relationship management tool. The open source CRM software is being released under GNU General Public License v3 (GPLv3). SugarCRM's Community Edition 5.0 is used for customer relationshipship management by companies; GPLv3 is the latest, and sometimes controversial, version of the Gnu Public License. SugarCRM also offers professional and enterprise versions of the software which the firm sells to companies.
