Swipp Lands $3.5M




Palo Alto-based Swipp, a stealth mode firm which says it wants to challenge the "social media status quo", said it has raised $3.5M in an institutional round. Funding came from Old Willow Partners. The firm, headed by Don Thorson, says it is developing a platform at the "intersection of social media, personal data, and commerce". Rich Heise of Old Willow joins the company's board as part of the funding. More information »
