San Francisco-based TastemakerX, which develops a mobile, music discovery application which uses gamification to let bands promote their music and find fans, said Thursday that it has raised $1.25M in a funding round. The round came from Baseline Ventures, True Ventures, Guggenheim Venture Partners, as well as new investor AOL Ventures. TastemasterX was founded by Marc Ruxin and Sandro Pugliese.
