Palo Alto-based TIBCO Software said today that it has acquired DataSynapse, a New York-based developer of software for managing cloud computing and virtual server environments. The deal was worth $28M in cash. According to TIBCO, Peter Lee and Jamie Bernardin, co-founders of Datasynapse, will join the firm as part of the acquisition. DataSynapse developing provisioning and management applications for physical, virtual, and cloud-based computing environments.
