    Vast.com Acquires Adaptive Real Estate Services


    San Francisco-based Vast.com, a provider of vertical search engine services, said Wednesday that it has acquired the technology, assets, and engineering expertise of Adaptive Real Estate Services LLC. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Adaptive Real Estate Services provides hosted websites for real estate agents and brokers. VAST said that the ARES solution will become part of its product suite. Vast.com is backed by Clearstone Venture Partners and LeapFrog Ventures.
