San Carlos-based Verinata Health, a firm developing diagnostic test for monitoring maternal and fetal health, announced today that it has raised $48.5M in a Series C funding round. The firm said the round was led by Mohr Davidow Ventures, Sutter Hill Ventures, and Alloy Ventures. The firm said it expects to close an additional $2.0M in that round on August 31st. Verinata is developing a non-invasive, prenatal diagnostic test to detect fetal chromosomal abnormalities. More information »
