San Francisco-based YL Ventures said today that it has raised $27.5M in a funding round, targeted specifically at Israeli startups. The firm said the funding round came through its second fund, YLV II. The company said it will invest in core technology Internet start-up companies in Israel. Ofer Schreiber has been promoted to Partner as part of the new funding. The investment firm said the fund was oversubscribed, and had been targeted at $25M.
