Zannel Opens API
San Francisco-based Zannel, which operates a online instant messaging and communications service based on sharing mobile phone pictures, said this morning that it has rolled out a new application programming interface for developers. Zannel said its new API allows users to create their own mobile applicaitons, widget, and mashups. Zannel also said that it has expanded its sets of exported feeds, and now supports Twitter, Flickr, Facebook, Myspace, and Blogger. Zannel is venture backed by U.S. Venture Partners and Palomar Ventures.
