Redwood City-based Zazzle said today that the firm is launching a new technology platform and tackling new vertical markets with the firm's service. Zazzle, which allows people to create their own customized products, said that it is rolling out a new technology platform, and new features which allow consumers to see what their products will look like in real life on virtual models. Other new features include better production of dark apparel; and control over royalty rates and retail pricing. Zazzle is venture backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Sherpalo Ventures.
