ZeaChem Scores $25M For Biofuels Plant




ZeaChem, a developer of cellulosic ethanol processes which has its research and development operations in San Mateo, said Monday that it has raised $25M in a Series C funding round. The round was let by ITOCHU Corporation, and laos included Australian investment banking firm MacQuarie, Birchmere Ventures, Firelake Capital, Globespan Capital Partners, Mohr Davidow Ventures, PrairieGold Venture Partners, and Spring Ventures. ZeaChem said the funding will go towards its biorefinery in Boardman, Oregon; the firm is based in Lakewood, Colorado. More information »
