Thursday, July 10, 2008 Zend Grabs $7MCupertino-based software maker Zend Technologies, the firm behind the popular PHP development language, said this morning that it has raised $7M in a new funding round from TriplePoint Capital. Zend said it will use the funding to take advantage of market expansion opportunities. Zend's software language is widely used by web sites for developing software applications and web pages. Zend has previously raised funding from Azure Capital Partners, Greylock Partners, Index Ventures, Intel Capital, Platinum Venture Capital, SAP Ventures and Walden International.
