Thursday, February 5, 2009 Zend Loses Goldberg, Taps Gutmans As CEOCupertino-based Zend Technologies, which develops the popular PHP language for web site development, announced this week that it has named co-founder Andi Gutmans as the firm's CEO. Gutman has been serving as the firm's Senior Vice President for R&D and Alliances. According to the firm, the move is because former CEO Harold Goldberg is leaving to pursue other opportunities. The firm also said it has added Mark Burton, former EVP of Worldwide Sales at MySQL, as its executive chairman. posted on Thursday, February 5, 2009
