Monday, April 20, 2009 Zmanda Upgrades MySQL Backup SoftwareSanta Clara-based Zmanda, which develops open source backup and recovery tools, said today that it has upgraded its MySQL backup and recovery software. According to ZManda, its Zmanda Recovery Manager tool now features a visual log analyzer to help its users identify errors and changes more easily. Zmanda's software is used to automate backup and recovery of MySQL databases, including storage to Amazon's S3 storage services; the firm is venture backed by Helion Venture Partners, BlueRun Ventures, and Canaan Partners. posted on Monday, April 20, 2009
