Wednesday, July 8, 2009 Zosano Pharma Raises $30MFremont-based Zosano Pharma, which develops transdermal drug delivery technology, said today that it has raised $30M in a new roun dof financing. Zosano said that Nomura Phase4 Ventures led the round, with all of its existing investors participating. Other investors in the firm are New Enterprise Associates, HBM BioVentures, and ProQuest Investments. The company said the new round of funding will go towards Phase 3 clinical development and manufacturing readiness for the firm's drug delivery patch for the treatment of osteoporosis, ZP-PTH. The firm did not disclose its total investment so far, but the company has now reported over $150M in investments since 2006. posted on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 (Link to more information)
