Redwood City-based Zuora, which provides software-as-a-service for handling subscription billing, said today that it has raised $36M in a funding round. The firm, which is headed by Tien Tzuo, said that the round was led by Index Ventures, and also included Greylock Partners, Dave Duffield (Workday), Benchmark Capital, Redpoint Ventures, Shasta Ventures, Tenaya Capital and Marc Benioff (Salesforce.com). The round brings the company's total raised to $82.5M. Zuora said the funding will go to international and product line expansion.
