3VR Finds $17M

San Francisco-based 3VR Security, a developer of video search and analytics technology, said Tuesday that it has raised $17M in a new round of funding. The firm said the round was led by Menlo Ventures, and also included investments from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, DAG Ventures, and Focus Ventures. As part of the funding, the firm said it has added Aisling MacRunnels as Chief Marketing Officer; MacRunnels joins from Sun Microsystems. More information »
