23andMe Gains $11M

Mountain View-based 23andMe, the personal genomics startup headed by Anne Wojcicki, has raised $11M of a $24.26M funding round, silicontap.com has learned. According to a regulatory filing, 23andMe raised the equity on April 16th. Details of the funding have not been released by the company. The firm has previously raised funding from Genentech, Google, MDV Mohr, Davidow Ventures, and New Enterprise Associates. More information »
