Adicet Bio Gets $51M For Cell Immunotherapy

Menlo Park-based Adicet Bio, a biopharmaceuticals startup focused on cell immunotherapy, said today that it has raised $51M in a Series A funding. The company also said it has acquired Israeli company Applied Immune Technologies. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. The funding came from Orbimed, along with Novartis Venture Fund and Pontifax. Adicet is led by founder Aya Jakobovits, the founding CEO of Kite Pharma. More information »
