AlphaSense Adds $33M For Investment Research Tools
San Francisco-based AlphaSense, a developer of investment research and corporate intelligence search engine tools, has raised $33M in a growth capital funding, the company said this morning. The funding came from Tribeca Venture Partners, Triangle Peak Partners, and Quantum Strategic Partners (managed by Soros Fund Management LLC), plus angels such as Tom Glocer (Thomson Reuters). AlphaSense offers up its search engines to investment firms, banks, and other corporations. The startup is led by Jack Kokko. More information »
