AMD Buys Wireless VR Technology From Nitero

AMD said on Monday that it has acquired the IP assets of Nitero, a developer of wireless virtual reality technology. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Nitero was developing a millimeter-wave semiconductor product which enables extremely high throughput transfer of video to virtual reality headsets.
