Apple Updates Mac mini

Cupertino-based Apple has snuck out an updated Mac mini, saying this morning that it has "completely redesigned" the mini to include better graphics performance, HDMI support, and a built in SD card slot. The new Mac mini, which starts at $699, is built out of aluminum, includes a new integrated power supply, an HDMI output to connect the mini to a HDTV, and a new 48-processor core NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor. Apple said the new mini has a highly energy efficient design which uses less than 10W at idle, which it says makes it the "world's most energy efficient desktop." The new mini includes a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 320GB hard and 2GB of RAM.
