Bear Flag Robotics Finds $3.5M In Seed Funding
Sunnyvale-based Bear Flag Robotics, which is developing robot technology which allows for the automation of tractors and implements, has raised $3.5M in a seed funding round, the company said on Friday. The funding was led by True Ventures. The company said that Rohit Sharma of True Ventures has joined the company's board as part of the funding. Bear Flag Robtoics was co-founded by Igino Cafiero and Aubrey Donnellan. Bear Flag Robotics says its technology allows for such things as commanding a fleet of tractors from one remote location; planning and scheduling jobs; optimizing route planning; and much more. The company's technology is aimed at use by farmers and growers. The company says it has now raised $4.5M in total.
