Box.net Bags $81M

Palo Alto-based Box.net, the online content sharing and storage service, said today that it has closed on $81M in a Series D expansion round, bringing its total raised to $162M. Box said the round included salesforce.com and SAP Ventures as strategic investors, as well as Bessemer Venture Partners, NEA, Andreessen Horowitz and Draper Fisher Jurvetson Growth. The firm said it no whas 7 million individuals and 100,000 businesses using its services. More information »
