C3 IoT Gets $70M For IoT Development

Redwood City-based C3 IoT has raised a big, $70M Series D funding this morning, led by private equity investor TPG Growth. TPG Growth said it lead the funding in C3 IoT, joined by Sutter Hill, Interwest Partners, and Thomas Siebel, who founded C3 IoT. C3 IoT says it provides pre-build applications covering predictive maintenance, fraud detection, energy management, and network sensor health, for such industries as manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare, retail, aerospace, transportation, telecommunications, and the public sector.
