Chobolabs Finds $1.3M For Multi-player Gaming Apps
Palo Alto-based Chobolabs, which is developing multiplayer gaming technology for mobile app developers, has raised $1.3M in a funding round. The funding was led by Innovation Endeavors, the venture investment firm led by Eric Schmidt, and also included Maurice Werdegar (CEO, Western Technology Investment), XG Ventures, Jim Ellis (Founder, Asurion), Joel Peterson (Chairman, JetBlue), Bill Meehan (Director Emeritus, McKinsey), John Kobs (Founder & CEO, Apartment List), Mac Harman (Founder & CEO, Balsam Brands), and other angels. Chobolabs is led by Deyan Vitanov, and is hoping to enable competitive, multi-player gaming on smartphones.
