Cola Gets $1.3M For Messaging Software

San Francisco-based Cola said today that it has raised $1.3M in a seed funding, to bring app-like interactivity into text messaging. The funding was led by Naval Ravikant, and also included Tribeca Angels and Ravikant's AngelList syndicate, which included Steve Case, Brad Garlinghouse, angels. Cola is led by David Temkin, who previously founded Lazlo Systems, and was Gm of AOL Mobile and Mail.
