eShares Gets $41M For Cap Table Management Software

Palo Alto-based eShares, a developer of software used to manage the capitalization tables of startups and other companies, raised $41M in a Series C funding, the company disclosed today. The funding was led by Social Capital and Menlo Ventures, and also included Union Square Ventures, Spark Capital, K9 Ventures and Industry Ventures. eShares handles equity management, 409A valuations, and says it already has 5,000 companies using its platform.
