Farmer's Business Network Gets $40M

San Carlos-based Farmer's Business Network, which operates an online service to provide farmers with a place to share agricultural information, gain pricing of farm chemicals, and more, has raised $40M in a Series C funding round, the company disclosed on Wednesday. The funding came from GV (Google Ventures) and DBL Partners, and also included Acre Venture Partners and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
