Fleetsmith Finds $3.1M For Mac Management Software

San Francisco-based Fleetsmith, a developer of software tools for managing corporate Mac computers, has raised $3.1M in a seed funding round, according to the company. The funding was led by Index Ventures and Harrison Metal, and also included Arash Ferdowski (Dropbox), Kevin Mahaffey (Lookout), Scott Cannon (Mailbox), and Zane Lackey (Signal Sciences). Fleetsmith said its team comes from Dropbox and Wikia, and is looking to offer up Mac management tools to SMBs and younger companies. Fleetsmith's CEO and co-founder is Zack Blum. More information »
