Frame Finds $16M For Browser-Based Desktops
San Mateo-based Frame, a developer of software which allows users to run desktop environments in their browser, has raised $16M in a funding round, the company said on Wednesday. The funding came from Bain Capital Ventures, Microsoft Ventures and In-Q-Tel, along with CNTP. Frame helps companies migrate users from legacy desktops, to cloud services running on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, running legacy applications via virtual applications and desktops. The company says its solutions are easier to deploy than traditional, virtual desktop (VDI) software. Nikola Bozinovic is founder and CEO of Frame.
