GenturaDx Acquired By Luminex

Hayward-based GenturaDx, a developer of molecular diagnostics products used for PCR analysis, has been acquired by Luminex Corporation. The deal was worth $50M in cash, plus unspecified earnout. GenturaDx was venture backed by Bay City Capital and DT Capital PArtners. The firm's automated, real-time PCR systems are in late stage development, according to Luminex.
