Gigster Gains $20M
San Francisco-based software development service provider Gigster said on Tuesday that it has raised $20M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by Redpoint Ventures, and also included Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary's Sound Ventures, Marc Benioff and Adam D'Angelo, along with basketball player Michael Jordan. Gigster's says it has developed a series of tools that use automation and artificial intelligence to make the traditionally complex process of software development more efficient and reliable.
