Gigster Gets $10M
San Francisco-based Gigster, an online service which says it provides on-demand, software development and design to its customers, has raised $10M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Andreessen Horowitz, and also included Y Combinator Continuity Fund I, Ron Conway of SV Angel, Ashton Kutcher of Sound Ventures and Jason Calacanis of Launch Fund. the company said that Lars Dalgaard of Andreessen Horowitz will join the company's board with the funding. Gigster says it allows both enterprises and startups to get a fixed price quote for software development efforts. The company is led by Roger Dickey. More information »
