Gitlab Gets $4M For Source Control Software
San Francisco-based GitLab, a developer of source code management software, has raised $4M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Khosla Ventures. The company said the funding goes towards growth and scaling of its software, including development, marketing, and sales. GitLab offers up both open source and commercially supported software, used for managing software source code. The company was founded by Sytse "Sid" Sijbrandij and Dmitriy Zaporozhets.
