Harness Gets $20M

San Francisco-based harness, which develops artificial intelligence software aimed at improving the speed of release of software to end users, has raised $20M in a Series A funding, the company said today. The funding was led by Menlo Ventures and BIG Labs. Harness is was founded by former CEO and founder of AppDynamics, Jyoti Bansal, who also serves as CEO of the new startup. The startup was co-founded by Rishi Singh, former a DevOps platform architect as Apple, who is serving as CTO. The company said it is providing "continuous delivery" software which lets development teams deliver software changes to end-users in only hours rather than months. Matt Murphy of Menlo Ventures joins the company's board with the funding. More information »
