IBM Boosts VC In Brazil

IBM is looking to boost venture capital activity in Brazil, with a new partnership with an agency in that country, the firm said Tuesday. IBM said it is linking with FINEP -- the Brazilian Innovation Finance Agency, the Brazilian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (ABVCAP) and Endeavor (the Organization for Entrepreneurship Support in Brazil) on a forum to help present business plans and technology concepts, and to hear from venture capital experts. IBM runs a Sao Paulo innovation center focused on trailing, consulting, and IBM technology in Brazil.
