Kenzen Snags $5M For Health Wearables
San Francisco-based Kenzen announced this morning that it has raised $5M in a funding round, for its "smart patch", which uses sweat analysis to measure a user's vital signs. The funding came from Digitalis, Flex (formerly Flextronics), the San Francisco 49ers, Hickory Ventures, Gaingels, and the Women's Capital Connection. The company said the funding will go towards further development, support and market positioning of its ECHO Smart Patch wearable technology. Dr. Sonia Sousa is Co-Founder and CEO of Kenzen.
